Pirates (2-3) at Marlins (3-2)
1:05--Dolphin Stadium, Miami
Ian Snell (0-0, 6.00) vs. Rick VandenHurk (0-0, 9.00)
---------------------
Not too much to say about this early Sunday afternoon start.
--
It's the first day game of the year.
--
The Pirates need to win. Here's why:
-We can't get swept by the freaking Marlins.
-Ian Snell is much better than whoever this VandenHurk guy is. I think he's Dutch.
-We need to get back home at .500 (especially after taking the first series)
----------
Game not on TV today thanks to the Pens' last game. They need to win to get the #1 seed since Montreal won last night. If the Pens win (vs. the Flyers) they face Philly in the playoffs. If they lose, they face Ottawa.
---------
Kansas and Memphis won last night. Championship on Monday night.
--
Home opener tomorrow.

Want to talk about the game live? Feel free to leave comments here, but that hasn't gained much steam. [Bucs Dugout] has a cool comments system where you don't need to refresh the page and you can always find some loyal fans there. Also, keep an eye on this new site, [Gamedaychat.com]. It looks awesome but I don't think many people know about it yet.
