Ryan Dempster (former closer) has been converted to a starter. Why? Who knows, but he was effective in his first outing in a win over Milwaukee (the Brewers' only loss so far).

The game was originally slated to be on TV but FSN has dumped it in favor of the Pens' playoff Game 1 tonight against the Senators. They're doing the same on Friday night (against the Reds). FSN will televise the Saturday night game vs. Cincy (originally NOT scheduled for TV)

Yeah, our Pens coverage has dropped off quite a bit, mostly because Matt doesn't want to jinx the team by starting to write just for the playoffs. SO...check out [The Pensblog] and [Pensburgh] for some excellent Pens coverage.

They'll be looking for revenge after a devastating first round beating at the hands of the Senators last year. This time, the Pens appear to be in the position of power.
