Pirates (33-35) at Orioles (33-33)
7:05--Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Zach Duke (4-4, 4.10) vs. Radhames Liz (1-0, 3.48)
[Preview]
-------------------------------------
As we did (successfully) earlier in the week, it's time to recover from the stunner last night and start playing well again.
--
It's especially key that we don't fall into the interleague tailspin that always happens. You could sort of feel it coming last night--some wins here would nicely fix that feeling.
----------
Meanwhile, Zach Duke goes tonight. He's really been throwing well lately, and is becoming Mr. Consistent. You have to like that in the back end of the rotation--but tonight, we need to see some good pitching after last night's implosion. I feel confident with Duke going out there, though.
------
Radhames Liz has a weird name. He also has given up 2 runs in 5 (and 5.1) innings in his only two starts this year. He walks people too much.
He was 0-2, 11.48 ERA last year. Let's hit!
---------
Go Buccos.
