CC Sabathia No-Hits the Pirates

So, I guess you're reading that and wondering why you haven't seen the highlights on ESPN yet or read all about it all across the internet.
-
The Bucs notched 1 "hit." But it wasn't really a hit. You see, Andy LaRoche hit a slow grounder to the pitcher. It went about 10 feet. Sabathia hustled over and was about to pick it up as Andy rushed toward first--the play would have been very close. CC tried to bare-hand it, but missed, so Andy reached. Somehow, the play was ruled a hit. If I can, I'll find a video of the play. It was in the 5th inning.
-
CC went on to throw a shutout. He walked a few, but that was it. That was the only hit--making it a no-hitter by the tally of everyone except the official scorer.
-
Jeff Karstens gave up 3 runs in 6.1. The bullpen gave up a lot more. Final was 7-0.
-
Losing streak is at 10. Rocco is on the radio now pretending the Bucs won because he and the rest of us are so tired of the losses. He's a good man.

UPDATE 5:11 PM: [Dejan] has the official scorer's explanation. Take it for what it's worth:
-
Official scorer Bob Webb explained, just now after the game, his ruling on the LaRoche single: "The way the ball came off the bat, it was spinning, and it went to the left of the mound with a left-handed pitcher going to get it. It's a difficult play. The definition requires that standard effort is required, and that would have taken more than an ordinary effort. The runner was well down the line."

6:27 PM: [Here's the video of the play].
--
6:31: Now the Brewers are formally protesting the call [Dejan]. Ned Yost is being a crybaby about it, but he's right.
