Pirates (26-29) at Cardinals (33-24)
2:15--Busch Stadium, St. Louis
Ian Snell (2-4, 5.46) vs. Braden Looper (6-4, 5.05)
[GameTrax]
-------------------------
Last night was great. Time for Ian Snell to turn things around.
You may recall Ian's last outing--he was pitching quite well until an abominable 5th where he walked the bases loaded and gave up a sac fly and homer.
Today's the day to eliminate that bad inning. The Pirate offense is at the ready to assist him.
---
Looper is 2-2, 3.07 ERA in his career vs. the Pirates. Actually, this is a rematch of last year's home opener, a game the Cards won 3-0.
-------
I won't be around for this one, so no Cover it Live thread today. Hopefully we can take the lead in this series with 2nd-place St. Louie.
